Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-03

This policy describes what personal data we collect, why, and how you can manage it.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, profile image, and the role assigned to you.
  • Authentication data: a record that you signed in via GitHub, Google, Facebook, magic link, or email/password — including identifiers returned by those providers.
  • Basic technical data such as IP address (for rate limiting) and request logs.

How we use it

Personal data is used solely to operate the site: signing you in, displaying your name and avatar on content you author, and protecting the site from abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with infrastructure providers required to operate the site (hosting, database, email delivery), each acting as a processor on our behalf.

Cookies and sessions

Authentication uses signed JSON Web Tokens stored in cookies. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. See how to request deletion.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. After deletion, identifying fields are removed; published posts may be retained with the author field anonymised.
