You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to sharkonet@protonmail.com from the address linked to your account.
2. Use the subject line: "Data deletion request".
3. Include the email address of the account you want deleted.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email, profile image, and password (if any).
• Linked social-account records (GitHub, Google, Facebook).
• Active sessions and pending verification tokens.

Posts you authored may be retained with the author field anonymised.

Timeframe

Requests are typically processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

Facebook users

If you signed in with Facebook and remove this app from your Facebook settings, Facebook automatically notifies us. You can also follow the email process above.
